"The Captain's Prize"

Everybody waves good-bye
because everybody has to die.
It's enough to make you cry.
These are the binds that tie.

If you love me,
what are the color of my eyes?
Why is there some truth
in all of your lies?

Love is the word to the wise.
Both greeting and parting
brings tears to your eyes.
Resistance to separation is the bind that ties.

"Aloha" has always been the Captain's prize.
In the sunset sea and the wavy sky,
he knows the value of sweet good-byes.
On freedom's wings he has to fly.
The widows walk and wonder why.
These are the binds that tie.

"The Champ" by Volt-Weaver

I know you.
Your wishes did not come true
a thousand times,
but you still wish.

Your prayers were not answered
a thousand times,
but you still pray.

Your hopes and dreams and aspirations
have been dashed and shattered
a thousand times,
but you still hope and dream and aspire.

Your heart has been broken
a thousand times,
but you still love.

Sure, I know you.
You're the Champ!
"Whose Who" by Volt-Weaver

There was once a beautiful Indian girl named "Sun-Sea-Ray"
who was so lonely that she lost even her reflection.
One fine sunny day she looked out over the ocean.
There were millions of sparkles all the way to the horizon.

When she realized that each of those sparkles
Was a complete reflection of the Sun,
she became enlightened.

That is you up there nailed to that Cross,
and it is you who are doing the nailing.
It is you who is on fire,
and it is you who lit the fire.

How many, just how many "yous"
do you imagine that there are?
There is only ONE you,
Sun-Sea-Ray!
